A Night with Coldplay
Monday, July 17th, 2006I purposely took a trip down to Singapore last weekend with my boy2. The sole reason for this was that I won 2 free tickets to Coldplay, Twisted Logic World Tour. Apart from that, the Great Singapore Sale was on and I get to meet a few of my friends living there. The concert was a blast. I didn’t regret spending more than twice the amaunt of RM on travel and food in ‘kiasuland’ for it. We were sitting on the left side of the stage at row 15. We had quite a good view (of coz not as good as those right in front of the stage). They started with a song from their new album…Square One. Not quite familiar with it as I don’t have the album… Hehe…When they reached their 3rd song…the whole stadium roared to life!! Yup, it was Yellow, their trademark song. And the rest of the time were just about as ecstatic as ever especially when they sing The Scientist, Speed of Sound, Fix You and Clocks. By the time the concert ends, my throat was dry (sing along too much I guess), my hands were sore from too much clapping and my legs ached…but it was all worth it. Hehe.. I was so envious of the girl who got kissed by Chris Martin. How lucky!! I can’t even get up close and a proper look of him. All in all…it was a memorable night.
