A time to remember
Saturday, April 8th, 2006My clinical attachments are finally OVER!… But now i wonder whether i should feel excited or sad coz i’ll be leaving my university life very very soon. Come to think of it, although my clinical attachments are real hectic, i did learned a lot. Diifferent attachments tested me in different ways. It was really an eye opening experince when i was in psychiatric ward… sometimes i envy them because they are so happy in their own world. My next attachment was in Surgery. That really tested my physical strength. It was the most tired week for me among all. We also saw a lot of really ugly wounds ( which i told my friend ivy who recently undergone appendicectomy… blessed in disguised *wink*). Oncology is the least mentally stressed week although workload was last from the least. Medical week was the one that gave me eyebags..Sob2…while paediatrics gave me a heart attack (thanks to Prof. B). O&G is the place to see how great a mother’s sacrifice and all the cute2 babies.
As for this week, it marks a transition week between end of lectures & attachments with the start of my FINAL exam… Also, it marks a transition between end of my schooling days and the start of my working days because its the time when we’re suppose to make a big decision : Where do we go from here??? (Application for the place to do our compulsory service)
Now, i have to go back to my studies…Hehe… Gambate my coursemates!
